Alice in Wonderland – yeh, it’s that good

Written by / Posted in tech / 12 Comments

Just got back from Alice in Wonderland. After Avatar and now this, the bar is way up there. I thought we were going to need holograms at the movies to create this type of reality. No need. Give it another 5 minutes and there will be no more need for actors, our computer screens will be 3D, and the movie will change based on our choices and reactions. Wow. To keep up is requiring us to to be faster and smarter than ever. Just WOW.

We saw the 3D version yesterday. It really was a good flick.

The standards of what is expected now in movies, and from us, is going to go through the roof.

I am really looking forward to see this movie. We live in the future now; Star Trek-like holodeck seems to be the next step.

I watched it a week ago. Awesome movie. Johnny Deep was amazing as usually.

Excellent movie. I saw it in the 3D and was really happy with the movie. I just saw “Clash of the Titans” and I think it would have been better in regular 2D than 3D.

I’m going to have to disagree with you guys. Though the graphics were nice it didn’t make up for the predictable story and one-dimensional characters.

i do not agree with you. Actors are still needed to make animated movies. First who is going to speak? :S Then the moves are also made by human with motion sensors…

Nice flick but animated movies are not my thing. I didn’t liked avatar too 🙁
3d effects were nice but in my country [india] animated movies aren’t much in demand.

I saw avatar without the 3d glasses and while it may be cool and all, it seems like its better for Disney Land type thing, you know those special videos they play as part of an attraction? To watch it at home just doesnt have the same effect…atleast not on me

@stefmkd:j Actors are also needed to make up the majority of American income too. Without them, where would celebrity gossip be? Also, what would become of our economy without these millionaires? I saw Avatar and was pleasantly surprised as I never really like many things with that much hype, but I ended up jumping on the band wagon anywhoo.
