The Big Event

Last year I had the pleasure of attending my first Pubcon. I made a lot of new friends, but did not get to meet nearly as many of them as I would have liked to.
There was other chatter on the Internet by other guys new in the ranks who wanted to go to smaller parties during Pubcon where they could rub elbows with each other and make more SEO-SEM-PPC-Developer-Local-Webmaster-Affiliate friends!
So I have been in the works to solve this. An everyone’s event, where it does not matter how much you spent in adwords, or what continent you grew up on. In fact, even Mac people will be invited.
Within a few days I will start going over the specifics of it here.
i’m excited to see the specifics of what event you will be putting together. When you get that many people together with that much information and intelligence good things will happen.
ReplyThe stats on Pubcon are incredible. That is one large conference. But I guess that’s the story of Vegas– go big or go home.
It is cool that you took initiative to try and gather people in a more intimate, friend making/ network friendly setting. Personally, I don’t think the Mac people should have been invited.
ReplyPubcon sounds cool. Networking is key in any business. And from this came ThinkTank! It’s nice when you can create something for other people based on your own realized needs. It usually ends up that there are a lot of people out there that you can satisfy with the same needs as you. That’s why so many people attend ThinkTank, I suppose!
ReplySo my journey begins. New to the networking world but excited to absorb all I can and incorporate it into my military community sites. DK, I like how you roll!
