I am a total anti war guy, but love to help those who have worked to try to help me.

Well my fellow Pubconers, Tuesday evening is lining up, and guess what? You are invited!

First a picture of my buddy Kate! (There is a pic of her in a bikini at the bottom of this post, but it won’t show up unless you read the whole post!)

There are a whole mess of fun events I am guiding people to at Pubcon, a Fight Club with the number one UFC fight trainer in the world, Hanging out in the High Limit Lounge at the Mirage, Gourmet Burgers, Italian Food, Drinks at the Wynn and a poker tournament. Here is the whole weekends schedule! that you can read about here. But you wouldn’t know about that, because the only reason you are reading this post is because of Kate’s pictures! (Thanks Kate!)

I want to talk about Tuesday. First off at 2:15 is the fight club. In case you have been living under a rock, the world heavyweight champion of the world in mixed martial arts (UFC), meaning he is the most bad ass dude in the world is Randy Couture. Randy’s trainer, the greatest fight trainer in the world, and my friend is Coach Shawn Tompkins. Randy (the heavyweight champ) is defending his title this coming Saturday night in Vegas, right after Pubcon. In the middle of this enormous week of his life, he is allowing us to take over his gym for an hour just before the pros start training. Coach Tompkins is going to teach us real, can use imediately, skills to defend yourself! This is bad ass stuff! You need to sign up and pay $150 to cover the costs. There will be some extremely successfull internet geeks getting down and dirty! If you are reading this blog, you are invited!

My buddy Kate, who is a model and actress will be getting her workout for the day with us, taking our class! Guaranteed for some great photos I promise you! You probably don’t recognize her as her parts so far have been small and numerous. Give this girl a few more minutes and I expect to see her in bigger and bigger roles!

Then at 7:00 we will be heading over to BLT gourmet burgers at the Mirage. You did read this schedule didn’t you? Along with dozens? Hundreds? of your soon to be friends, we will be eating amazing gourmet burgers to die for! They don’t take reservations, so get there at 7:00, and we will either cruise on in, and break up into tables, or we will wait in line until we can. It is a casual place and should be way fun to eat and make new freinds. I recomend sitting with people you don’t know, so you can make some great new connections. You guys can fight over who gets to sit with me and Kate! It will make me feel special, even though it will be Kate you are trying to sit by.

At 9:00, or when we are done with dinner, we will roll over, (literally rolling after eating too much), to the Wynn. The Up-Parasol bar, is a round bar on the main floor, near the check in desk, that has lots of big cushy lounge chairs and drinks! This is the location where last year, I sat with The Mad Hat while he gave away his secrets until the wee hours of the morning. The funniest part was one of his fiercest competitors sat at the same table listening to the same lessons I was learning, but was so frustrated because he drank too much, and knew he would never remember it in the morning. I remembered though 🙂

Kate will be hanging out with us at the bar too. When you hear her accent you will probably burst into tears. Yep, I love setting the bar so high, that it will ruin the rest of your life!

If you run into Irelands best SEM, Dave Davis, ask him to buy you an Arnold Palmer and to keep them coming!

In case you didn’t know, we are having a poker tournament!

The great news is that the Venetian is busting their behind to get us approved so it will be a charity tournament, and it looks like it probably will be. It will be up to the Venetian now!

I and another designer have had our hand in it too, but it is 98% Dean!

Now we have to choose the colors. The graphic will go on the back, but these show it on the front. All American Apparel t-shirts.

Take a look at the options, and then I am going to ask you to vote.

In reality the colors will not be as bright, or as clear on a t-shirt.
This first one was olive.

I came across an interesting Digg analysis tool. It let’s you analyze your digg submissions and your friends list to figure out which of your friends are digging your stories and which are not. The tool also shows you who in the digg community consistently digs your stories. These are your fans, and people you want to add to your friends list, since they already have your back.

The tool is useful for those looking to find out where to invest their time, friendship and resourses on Digg. It also lets you quickly see who to remove from your friends list if they are not digging your posts and taking up your time, you can cut them loose like dead wood.

It is a raw tool, and doesn’t have any fancy graphics, but you can tell there is some hard core programming behind it. Don’t expect a fancy UI. It takes a minute or two to run its majic, and then you will be shocked when you see the results. Nope, no body paid me this to write this, and I have no financial ties to the site. You wouldn’t believe me if I told you how I found out about it either 😉 Check out the Digg tool!

October 24th and 25th will be Scary SEO in Florida. It is near Halloween, so hence the “Scary” part!

I am proud and impressed with Dave Snyder for dong this.

Putting on an event like this requires a huge burst of confidence, because you never know if anyone is going to sign up! And whether they do or don’t you have committed to a bunch of money and time.

It sounds like it is going to be a very casual, small event focused on SEO.

My good buddy Pamelund, is going to make her public speaking debut there. I predict that a lot of people will be shocked at how incredibly deep her knowledge goes in SEO. Most people would have no idea that she spent years managing over a 100 people building and SEO’ing websites. She is mostly known for, “Wow, she’s hot!”, and then about 2 hours later the person is writing notes and asking her questions. I expect when she speaks most of the “guys” in the audience will quietly say to themselves, “wow she’s hot”. So tip to Pam, don’t say anything of significance until about 1 minute into your talk because they will still be checking you out.

If you knew Dave’s backstory, he has faced obstacles as big as the ones myself and Shoemoney have. I will let him tell his own story though.

There are a bunch of good people signed up for the event, it’s in Florida, and it definitely is not your typical SEO event.

It only costs $200 to attend.

Unless my math totally tanks it looks like they have room for about 10 more people.

Very little sleep this week.
Working harder and faster than I ever have in my life.
This morning, I was averaging about 1 incoming phone call per minute for about an hour.
Sitting on a surfboard, the water just glistening, and dancing, looking to my side and seeing Cameron Oltheus pushing an SEO into a wave, and then him looking at me and smiling, and realizing that for me and Cameron at that exact moment, we were both officially at work!
Met Gregg, who just with a handshake blows you away with his warmth and his power.
Realizing again how very creative, and intelligent Shoemoney is.
Watching Neil Patel doing mad electric scooter rides.
Having the sun bust out, and watching 20 of my favorite people break into a spontaneous football game, seeing amazing plays, a gigantic diving catch by Sean of SEMJ.org, so many pretty girls, so much fun, getting to give chiropractic adjustments to many.
Having Planet C1, Michael, do a ton of great chiropractic.
Realizing that an itinerary is cool, but if everyone is happy, just let them do what they are doing.
A Werewolf game with tons of disney like holoween decorations, and people laughing until they couldn’t take it.
Realizing I probably won’t be able to sleep tonight.
Meeting the pro fighters, and their coach Shawn Tompkins again, and really having it hit home, how Randy Couture is a true champ in every sense of the word, and such a truly loving family of fighters he has put together.
So full of gratitude to Pamela Lund, Neil Patel, and Shoemoney, for connecting me to all these great people.
Realizing that people don’t really know the power that Pam Lund holds.

Realizing how incredible Roseanna, (hotwheelz) is with people.

Realizing how incredibly connected, and fun Shannon is.

So amazed at my staff who have been working 16 plus hours a day for a while now with no complaints, pulling off what I think has been an unstopable event!

Just one of the most bad ass days of my life.
